Stamp fact!

WHY THE STAMP IS STUCK AT THE TOP RIGHT-HAND CORNER OF THE ENVELOPE???.................

At the time when Queen Victoria came to the throne,

letter-writing was not common,

but luxury since postal rates was high.

Following the efforts of Sir Rowland Hill,

uniform penny postage was introduced on January 10th,1840

and in the following May,

postage stamps were introduced.

As all stamps were cancelled by hand,

and millions of letter had to be handled,

the stamps was placed into the

most convinient place on the envelop...

-THE TOP RIGHT-HAND CORNER.....

(it must be hard for left-handed person to try dis job kalo caneyh...
